At approximately 5,000 feet above sea level, with its mountain temperate climate, it was chilly most of the time when we stepped outside to the view surrounded by coniferous forest's pine trees that gives a cool walk through the woods nearby the resort.
As we walked to the edge, we immersed ourselves in the spectacular views we don't get to see in the place we live.

Chances are also the early morning mist that hangs heavy in the air creates the misty view of the valley over Kundasang village, can be observed in the morning. I truly love the misty view!
We took a morning stroll through a pine forest stepping on the alpine grass covered with dried pine needles and branches.
As I walked along, I began to ponder upon this place, it's a gift from mother nature. Nearer to home this is where we get to experience four climate zones from rich lowland dipterocarp forest through the montane oak, rhododendron, to the coniferous forests, to the alpine meadow plants, and to the stunted bushes of summit zone.
Pine cones laying on the ground among the pine needles is a rare sight for us back home.
Although Christmas is still a long way to go, but Christmas poinsettia plants are everywhere to be found.

Plenty of fresh temperate climate vegetables were such a blessing to us at almost every meal and served to us each time in a huge portion.
