The orchid is my favorite species of flowers since for a long time. My parents love them, my dad would buy whenever he sees new species we don't have among all orchids in the garden. I'd choose orchids for any kind of functions. They suit all kind of functions well (for me) and symbolise pleasantness.
Orchids usually last for about a week or so, no hassle in keeping them once they are harvested, they are pretty at all time, unlike roses their petals fall after a day.
My dream wedding would be full of orchids and my dream wedding hand bouquet would be purple phalaenopsis orchid bouquet.

They were selling at RM2.50 per stock (few orchids attached) in Kuching when I was running a small scale banquet/wedding planner.
They grow well in our tropical weather, Phalaenopsis Orchid is among the most popular orchids world wide.
This however is my neighbour's orchid crossed over our fence. I've been admiring it for days now and thought the pictures would make nice wallpapers :)
