Catch mine oranges, my love!
According to legend, the Chinese Valentine's Day was the only day in the year where young maidens could stroll along the streets, usually accompanied by a chaperon in the olden days.
Knowing the fact that many young men would be hanging around to catch their glimpses, these lovely maidens believed that there were legendary matchmakers who came down from the moon to help tie red strings of destiny on their legs with their right ones and in most cases the couples would END UP BEING TOGETHER! So lomantic!
