Dead Fish Stories !!!

Today I wanted to write about dead fish.

Ow came on Harry, what have dead fish be related to bird house !!!

 

Dead fish can actually help to populate your BH.  This was something that I learned last week !!!

Some one indicated to me that it you happened to own a BH and wanted more birds to fly near your entrance hole put dead fish near to it.

I remembered hanging a dead stingray fish near the entrance hole some time back.  It started to rot  attracting  lots of those maggots which feed on it and grew and later turned into those green colored house flies.

Maybe these flies attract those swiftlet to fly closer to the area for food???

This old friend found out that during his recent trip to the neighboring countries a BH owner told him to use those dead fish.  It must be those fresh water fish or ikan darat.

The ikan darat are more slimy and generate more smell when they rot in the open air.  Put some salt in the bucket.

Maybe ikan puyu, ikan keli, ikan sepat, ikan kelah, haruan and arowana.

Hmm very expensive leh !!! Oh no we are talking about dead fish not live one.

I have not tried but I will when I can get my hands on those slimy fish at the Selayang market.

Will let you all know if it works.
