Pullman

Saturday, January 9, 2010
I didn't know what 'Pullman' meant until I saw these lacquer figurines pulling a rope at the entrance to Puzzle Coffee House. I thought, Pullman could probably derived from the action of these men pulling a rope, (pull-man-pull) thus it's called 'PullMan'.

Neh, it's actually a German name.

These black lacquer figurines look like they are going to put someone on a rope and pull. Pull-man-pull!
