October Is Coming To An End....

This picture of UK Fun Fair in Sibu was taken about a month ago where one of the just erected electric poles is standing right in the middle of the entertainment spot and where the cable stringing work was about to be carried out at the same time as they started the Fun Fair.....

Talking about electricity, recently or just the week before, I saw few fb pals' posting a video clip by an infamous namewee, the four and the half minutes video clip (停電了!黃明志大鬧國家能源局) started with a ponytail Chinese guy speaking through flashing torchlight in the dark apparently was talking to a video cam stating his dissatisfaction on the blackout in Muar (Johor) followed by him making a few phone calls to TNB Muar and apparently with the intention of demanding an explanation about the blackout. Failed to get the phone answered from TNB, he set out in frustration on his motorbike heading to TNB building. This happened in Muar, Johor.

In his video clip, he stated, (1) it's the 3rd time the blackout happened this year since his return to Malacca (I heard him saying Malacca in Mandarin unless I was wrong) when he's actually in Muar. (2) He claimed he was half way into composing a song on his computer when the blackout happened, thus he's lost his work and (3) his brother was in the midst of exam revision. With that he concluded for a developed country like Malaysia, electricity blackout is a serious matter.

My opinions (don't matter), (1) 3 times out of 360 days in a year, little Muar town is far more better than Sibu with even frequent blackouts in a year. (2) Knowing the situation (TNB) in Malaysia, he should have prepared himself with backup for his computer. (3) Don't tell me his brother is from the group of last minutes rush students.

Anyway, upon arriving at TNB building, with no respect (judging by the tone of his voice, the way he approached whoever on his way in) raised his voice asking why is there a blackout. He didn't get the attention from the staff in a truck on their way out, so he headed to the Operation Room. With his helmet still on his head, he raised his voice to the staff in the room and with that attitude he expects someone to treat him nice!? When he was sent out by a security guard, he called the TNB staff as being hostile. Didn't get the answer he wanted, he walked out shouting vulgarisms at TNB. I felt disgusted more to say repulsive and disgusting to the senses.

I then clicked to namewee's fan page on fb and saw over 200 comments by his fans, 70% hail him as a HERO, BRAVE, THE TRUE MAN! based on the video clip.

For me, he may have the right to demand for an explanation about the situation that frustrates him but without manner, he'd better just sulked up then disgracing himself. The end does not justify the means.
