BN did it again, this time claiming that CURTIN UNIVERSITY was made possible because of BN government. Curtin Miri is "Malaysia's first private university".... Vote BN'
2 more days to go. It's Malaysia's 12th Parliamentary Election, will take place on Saturday, 8 March 2008. So, have you decided who you are going to vote yet? Mind you, you will be asked the question till the day's over.
Politic is not my main interest, to prove of that I never or not at all made any effort to be at where I was located to vote but I do follow up here and there about important issues.
As country's election day is coming.....
I've made a bad citizen of Malaysia, never had a vote before. Seriously NEVER and made up an excuse, as my voting location is 500km away from where I am. This time again, I may not be able to make it even for my very first vote in Sarikei. It's however more preferable if they'd put me back to vote in Kuching although I never voted there either but did my voting registration to vote in Kuching. Not until Mikemmery first sent me the link to Semakan Maklumat Pemilih (find your polling stations here http://daftarj.spr.gov.my/daftarbi.aspx) I won't know where I should go to vote.

Upon seeing the voting place (Saint Anne Sarikei) sparks me back to my childhood memories back in Sarikei.
St. Anne was not my early childhood school although the school is only few meters away from home, I went to Methodist Anglo-Chinese School. But Saint Anne was the place I joined their JV during my primary school times because our neighbour kids went there and met kids whose speak mostly English. It was a place I learned the pain of peer pressure most. The memories I had was having to have lots of embarrassments of unable to pronounce certain words in English correctly as I was from Mandarin speaking background's Chinese class. Being around them had also thought me about friendships has it challengers and competitions as a child then, partly because I was closer to them than to my own school's classmates. Interesting, yet stores huge growing up stories. Eventually I completed my secondary education at St. Anthony Sarikei.

It's interesting many people I met when they ask me what am I doing, I'd answer Electrical that's all and fThus many people thought I worked in one of the electrical shops like Samsung, Sony or so on. Because there is only one electrical shop at Mosrjaya called Stenerdy where our office is located.
Basically the company falls in the category of Civil Engineering catering to the civic needs. Our office in Miri is the site office for the project the company is undertaking, to cut it short we are the sub-contractor and Sarwaja is the main-contractor. The recent contract due early March 08. Mean to say, Farewell Miri!
Was a District Youth committee member with these two...
